Casino Dene

Casino Dene is an attractively designed custom built casino with a gaming floor space of 20,000 square feet plus a café and live entertainment lounge owned and operated by the Cold Lake First Nations with the aim of providing employment opportunities and economic development in the region.

The casino complex built at a cost of around $11 million is located 5 miles from Cold Lake City and provides a broad choice of gaming and musical entertainment. The complex has excellent banquet facilities, a restaurant and a lounge. The casino opens Monday to Wednesday 10am to 1am, Thursday to Saturday 10am to 3am and on Sunday from 10am to 2am.

Casino Dene Gaming Floor

There are 250 slot machines, a separate Poker Room with 4 Poker tables and a range of 9 table games offering 3 Card Poker, Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Guests can ask to learn table games in the venue as part of the free service provided to customers.

Casino Dene Lounge

Guests can enjoy drinks along with a full menu whilst they enjoy the live entertainment which is scheduled every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. The smoke free Casino Dene Lounge is open daily.

The River Ridge Café is a fully licensed café restaurant offers guests a selection of specials every day. The River Ridge Café is open Tuesday to Saturday 11.30am to 8pm.

Banquet or Boardroom Facilities

A purpose built space for meetings, parties and banquets is available for rent along with full catering services. The room has space for 70 people in a theatre style reception, 48 seated guests and a board room for 16 participants. The facilities include wireless internet and a projector with screen.
